The Directorate of Narcotics Affairs announced today, Friday, the arrest of drug dealers in four governorates.

A statement by the Directorate stated, "With separate, preemptive, qualitative security operations, the General Directorate for Narcotic Affairs arrested a number of drug traffickers caught in the act of possessing narcotic substances and pills of various kinds in Baghdad / Karkh and the governorates of Diyala, Diwaniyah and Babylon."

He added, "Legal measures have been taken against them in accordance with judicial decisions in order to obtain their just punishment and to deter anyone who tries to tamper with the security of society."
