Riyadh: As part of their ongoing partnership, Unearth Your Greatness, Maaden (Saudi Arabian Mining Company) and Aston Martin Aramco unveiled a global multi-year youth development initiative.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program aims to celebrate the greatness that comes from dedication to craft within the realms of Formula 1 and the mining industry. The initiative is designed to inspire and equip young people with the necessary knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience to explore STEM careers in both fields.

Aligned with the Saudi Vision 2030 goal to modernize education and foster a knowledge-based economy, Maaden's investment will provide resources for students and teachers, aiding in the integration of professional learning. The platform will enhance inclusion in STEM fields, creating lasting pathways from education to industry, and driving the recruitment of top talent.

As part of the initiative, Maaden is announced as the official supporting partner of STEM Racing, a global F1-supported program where students design, build, and race CO2-powered cars. To support this, Maaden will offer a new online learning platform, the Global STEM Racing Learning Channel, which will provide interactive modules, lessons, and certifications. This platform is expected to engage 100,000 students and teachers globally by 2028.

Further impactful partnerships and program expansions are anticipated in the coming year. Aston Martin Aramco Formula OneS Team chief executive Andy Cowell emphasized the importance of inclusivity in Formula 1 and the creation of meaningful opportunities for the next generation. Maaden chief executive Bob Wilt highlighted the role of talent in organizational growth and the ambition to make Saudi Arabia an industrial mineral hub.

STEM Racing founder and chief executive Andrew Denford expressed confidence in the partnership's potential to shape the future of motorsport and empower young individuals worldwide to thrive in STEM fields. The initiative aims to unlock opportunities and provide students with the tools needed for future success.
