Bahrain: Bahrain condemned the terrorist threats issued by the so-called military spokesperson of the Houthi terrorist militia against Saudi Arabia, including allegations, incitement, and irresponsible escalation that undermine regional security and stability and pose a serious threat to maritime navigation, international trade, and innocent civilians. The ministry said the threats constitute a blatant violation of international law, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed Bahrain's steadfast position of full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that the Kingdom's security is an integral part of Bahrain's security. It also expressed full support for the legitimate measures taken by Saudi Arabia to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity. The ministry emphasized the need for concerted international efforts to protect maritime security in the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandab, and other vital waterways in a manner that safeguards energy supplies and the movement of global trade.
Bahrain also renewed its appreciation for the diplomatic, humanitarian, and development efforts led by Saudi Arabia to achieve a comprehensive and lasting political solution to the Yemeni crisis, in accordance with the Gulf Cooperation Council Initiative and its Implementation Mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, foremost among them Resolution 2216. It said such efforts would preserve Yemen's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity while fulfilling the aspirations of its brotherly people for security, stability, and sustainable prosperity.
