Manama– Bahrain’s Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism announced laying the foundation stone for the American Trade Zone, located in Salman Industrial City, within the package of investment and strategic projects announced as part of the Industrial Sector Strategy 2022 – 2026.

The project comes within the economic recovery plan in a way that contributes to enhancing economic, commercial and industrial cooperation and boosting the bilateral trade drive between Bahrain and the United States of America towards broader aspects and as a result of concluding a MoU in 2021 to establish this area with an of approximately 110000sq.m. which amounts to 1.11 million square meters with future expansions.
