Manama-- Bahrain General Index closed today at 1,859.54 points, down by 1.53 points from the previous closing, while the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 655.35 points, up by 1.55 points from its previous closing.

The volume of traded shares amounted to 1,385,985 with a total value of 291,633 Bahraini dinars, through in 49 deals.
