Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the targeting of Taif Governorate by a drone. After the drone was intercepted and destroyed, falling shrapnel resulted in the death of a resident and injuries to a female citizen and another resident, in addition to material damage to a number of buildings and vehicles. Bahrain considered the attacks a blatant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the United Nations Charter, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom of Bahrain affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its full support for all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability and to protect its citizens and residents, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. It stressed that the security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are an integral part of Bahrain's national security.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed Bahrain's call on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities, take a firm position to stop the repeated terrorist attacks targeting civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom, hold those responsible accountable, and implement its relevant resolutions.
