‘Basta Khair Saudi Arabia’ Revitalizes The Historical Palace of the Emirate Square in Najran

Najran: The 'Basta Khair Saudi Arabia 2026' initiative, held at the square of the Historical Palace of the Emirate in the Aba Al-Saud neighborhood, Najran Region, witnessed a strong turnout from shoppers and visitors during the first week of the holy month of Ramadan, offering a blend of Ramadan ambiance and entertainment and shopping experiences.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative includes the participation of 20 stalls operated by female vendors and families working in the cottage industry, offering a selection of traditional foods featured on Ramadan tables, as well as local heritage products reflecting the cultural legacy and national production. Live demonstrations of handicrafts were also presented, contributing to an enriched experience that enhanced both the entertainment and cultural aspects simultaneously.

The Najran Region Municipality stated that it has equipped the site with necessary services and organized the stall locations according to a mechanism ensuring ease of movement and smooth visitor flow. It also issued the required permits, intensified inspection tours, and provided daily cleaning and maintenance services to ensure product safety and the quality of the overall experience.

It affirmed the continuation of its efforts to support community initiatives with economic and social dimensions, in cooperation with the Street Vendors Support and Empowerment Team at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. This cooperation aims to position them as an economic, cultural, and tourism asset that activates historic sites, enhances quality of life, and achieves the region's sustainable development targets.
