Riyadh: The General Directorate of Border Guard concluded today its awareness events across several regions of the Kingdom, coinciding with World Drowning Prevention Day, observed annually on July 25, to raise awareness of drowning risks and prevention methods.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the events included training workshops on swimming and rescue skills, awareness exhibitions, and safety guidance for swimmers and marine activity practitioners. These initiatives also emphasized the importance of supervising children and adhering to safety instructions. The comprehensive approach aimed to contribute to reducing drowning incidents and enhancing community safety across the Kingdom.
