Jizan: The General Directorate of Border Guard has organized an exhibition in Jizan city to promote maritime safety awareness, encourage safe practices, and reduce the risk of drowning.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition, running through July 28, showcases Border Guard regulations and instructions for beachgoers, penalties for swimming in undesignated areas, safety guidelines for sea-goers, the directorate's search and rescue efforts, and the importance of ensuring marine vessels are safe before setting sail.

The General Directorate of Border Guard urged beachgoers and sea-goers to adhere to safety instructions and guidelines and to call 911 in Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions, or 994 in the rest of the Kingdom, to request emergency assistance.
