Madinah: Search and rescue teams from the Border Guard in Yanbu Governorate in Madinah Region rescued five citizens after their boat broke down at sea.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Border Guard urged beachgoers and sea users to adhere to maritime safety guidelines and instructions, ensure the seaworthiness of their vessels before setting sail, and wear life jackets.

The directorate also urged those in need of assistance during emergencies to call 911 in Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions, and 994 in the rest of the Kingdom.
