Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, on Wednesday contacted by phone his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, to whom he offered condolences for the victims of the Israeli attack on the Iranian Embassy in Damascus.

Bou Habib wished a speedy recovery for the wounded and injured and reiterated ‘Lebanon’s condemnation of the attack on the sanctity and immunity of the embassy premises, which constitutes a clear violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, and a dangerous escalation threatening regional peace and security.”
