Saudi Stock Exchange Index Ends Trading Higher, at 7,388.49 Points
Riyadh, Saudi Stock Exchange’s main index closed trading higher here today, gaining 76.25 points to stood at 7,388.49 points.
The total value of the trading reported was over SR5.5 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 303 million, divided into 244,000 deals.
While the stocks of as many as 185 companies ended the trading with high values, only 9 companies’ shares slumped.
Reported spread between the gainers and the losers shares, ranged from 9.99 per cent to 10 per cent, either side.
Some stocks were leading in terms of quantity and others, of course, in value-speaking.
For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) closed higher, too, gaining 123.72 points to end over 8050.2 points, with a valuation of over SR18 million and a tally of more than 278 traded stocks, divided among 1297 deals.
