Jeddah: Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney departed Jeddah today after an official visit to the Kingdom. He was seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Finance Mohammed Aljadaan, Saudi Ambassador to Canada Amal Almoalimi, Canadian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Jean-Philippe Linteau, and other senior officials.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prime Minister Carney's visit focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Canada and Saudi Arabia.
