Bishkek: Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Marlen Mamataliev received Saudi Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Iyad bin Ghazi Hakim at the council's headquarters in Bishkek.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting commenced with Chairman Mamataliev extending his congratulations to Ambassador Hakim on assuming his role as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom. Mamataliev emphasized the Kyrgyz parliament's dedication to fostering and enhancing cooperation with the Shura Council. He also expressed Kyrgyzstan's significant interest in the ongoing progress and development within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Hakim, in response, reiterated his dedication to strengthening collaboration and committed to putting forth efforts to benefit the mutual interests of both nations. He underscored the Kingdom's advancements and accomplishments under Saudi Vision 2030, aligning with the directives from the Saudi leadership.
