Hanoi:The General Directorate of Civil Defense has advised the public in the Kingdom to exercise caution and seek safety as thunderstorms are anticipated in most regions until Saturday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, authorities have recommended avoiding flood-prone areas, such as valleys, and warned against swimming in these areas. They also emphasized the importance of following instructions disseminated through various media outlets and social media platforms.

The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall in the Makkah Region, which may lead to flash floods and hail, with downdrafts causing dust and sand to stir. Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in the Riyadh Region, posing similar risks.

Additionally, the NCM forecasts moderate to heavy rainfall in the Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions, with potential flash floods and hail, alongside dust-stirring downdrafts. Regions including Madinah, Eastern, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, and Najran are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall.
