Commander of National Center for Security Operations Inspects Unified Security Operations Center in Makkah

Makkah: Commander of the National Center for Security Operations Brigadier General Omar Al-Talhi conducted an inspection of the unified security operations center in the Makkah Region, which is operational for receiving emergency and humanitarian calls. This center plays a crucial role in assisting pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season through the unified emergency number (911).

According to Saudi Press Agency, Brigadier General Al-Talhi emphasized the critical importance of maintaining the safety and security of pilgrims. He highlighted the need for swift referral of reports to the relevant authorities, ensuring that they are handled with precision and professionalism. Additionally, he underscored the significance of fostering integration among the various security and service entities collaborating within the center.

The unified security operations center (911) in the Makkah Region had previously received over one million calls during the 1446 AH Hajj season. This statistic reflects the center's pivotal role in managing the influx of communications related to emergencies and humanitarian assistance during the pilgrimage.
