Crown Prince of Bahrain praises the historical Saudi-Bahraini relations

Riyadh, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain praised the historical ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in all fields, emanating from the leadership of the two countries’ keenness on strengthening the bilateral ties in all fields. He stressed Bahrain’s keenness to continue bolstering the relations of the two countries to continue achieving common aspirations towards greater prosperity and development for the two countries and peoples.

This came during Bahraini Crown Prince’s meeting at Gudaibiya Palace in Manama, Bahrain, today, with the Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, and the accompanying delegation, currently on an official visit to Bahrain at the invitation of the Bahraini Speaker of the Council of Representatives Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal.

The Bahraini Crown Prince welcomed Dr. Al Al-Sheikh and the accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay, and that their visit receives the desired success to achieve more joint work between the two countries in the parliamentary affairs in a way that achieves common visions as reflected in strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields.

For his part, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheikh expressed appreciation of the Crown Prince of Bahrain for his interest and keenness to consolidate cooperation between the two countries, sincerely wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

During the meeting, Al Al-Sheikh stressed that the close parliamentary relations that join the two chambers are stemming from the profound and historical relations that unite the two leaderships, peoples and countries, which set the foundation towards unified visions and viewpoints on various issues, in light of the generous care these relations enjoy from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, commending the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council efforts under close follow up by His Highness and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

The two sides also discussed topics of common interest, bilateral parliamentary relations between the Saudi Shura Council and the Bahraini House of Representatives and the Shura Council, including fruitful cooperation between the two sides in terms of coordinating stances and enhancing cooperation at international and regional parliamentary forums.

The meeting was attended by Speaker of the Council of Representatives Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Shura Council Speaker Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Bahraini Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Shura and Representative Council Affairs Ghanem bin Fadl Al-Buainain and members of the Saudi delegation.
