The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has invited the public to submit their input on the Radio Spectrum Use Regulations of Aeronautical Services.
CST said the document’s notable elements are types of licenses for aeronautical radio services, the Kingdom’s commitment to international regulations, technical terms and conditions for licensing, frequency allocations for aeronautical radio services, and updated technical standards for various aeronautical radio services.
CST reaffirmed its commitment to manage the use of aeronautical radio services, raise the efficiency of spectrum use in the Kingdom, according to the best international practices, and provide spectrum for all aeronautical radio services in the Kingdom while ensuring compliance with international regulations and protection from wireless interference.
CST has called on all relevant parties and interested people inside and outside the Kingdom to provide comments, observations and suggestions on the document. It also requires that comments be supported by the required details, justifications, analytical studies, benchmarks and other pertinent information.
