The Minister of Culture, Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan, led the Saudi side in the first meeting of the Culture, Tourism, and Entertainment Committee, emanating from the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council, which was held today in Doha, while the Qatari side was led by the Qatari Minister of Culture, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, with the participation of several government sector representatives to discuss issues related to enhancing cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
Prince Badr delivered a speech at the beginning of the meeting, during which he conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and their wishes of good health and happiness to him, and further progress and prosperity to Qatar and its people.
Prince Badr said, "I extend my sincere thanks to Qatar for choosing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the guest of honour for this year's Doha International Book Fair 2023 in its 32nd edition," appreciating the efforts made by the Saudi and Qatari sides in this regard.
