Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Condoles President of Indonesia on Victims of Football Match Stampede

Jeddah, Oct 4, 2022, SPA — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to President Joko Widodo of the Republic of Indonesia on the victims of a football match stampede.

In his cable, the King said, “We have learned of the news of the victims of the stampede that occurred during a football match resulting in deaths and injuries. As we send to Your Excellency, the families of the deceased and the fraternal people of the Republic of Indonesia our deepest and sincerest condolences, we pray to Allah Almighty to bless the deceased with His mercy and forgiveness, grant their families patience and solace and protect the people of the Indonesia from evil and harm, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.”
