Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Condoles President of Pakistan on Victims of Mosque Terrorist Bombing in Peshawar

Riyadh, Feb. 1, 2023, SPA — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolence to President Dr. Arif Alvi of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the victims of the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in the city of Peshawar, resulting in deaths and injuries.

In his cable, the King said, “We have received news of the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in the city of Peshawar, northwest of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, resulting in deaths and injuries. As We condemn and denounce in the strongest terms this criminal act, We share with Your Excellency the pain on this calamity, affirming the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and expressing to you and the families of the victims and to the fraternal people of Pakistan, our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, asking Allah the Almighty to protect your country and their fraternal people from all harm and misfortune. Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”
