Riyadh-- The General Administration of Health Services at the Ministry of Defense is participating in the World Defense Show 2022, which will be held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), from 6 to 9 March in Riyadh, by providing a mobile field hospital and medical evacuation planes.

The participation includes operating a field hospital with a capacity of (50) beds, including four beds for intensive care, in addition to a surgery room and several other departments such as radiology, pharmacy, and laboratory, equipped with medical staff to provide an integrated health service for participants and visitors to the Show, as well as air medical evacuation planes to transport cases that need to transfer to hospitals.

The mobile field hospital and the air medical evacuation planes are an example of what GAMI possesses of modern field hospitals, evacuation helicopters, and planes that contribute to providing health care, whether in times of peace or war, which have participated in many relief and humanitarian missions, Hajj seasons and national events, in addition to taking part in the Operations Decisive Storm and Restoration of Hope, and transporting the injured to specialized hospitals in the Kingdom and abroad.
