Riyadh: Deputy CEO of the National Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) Dr. Hotham Altwaijry emphasized that the future of artificial intelligence will be determined by countries that can effectively maximize the value of their technological advancements. He stressed the importance of focusing on the optimal use of AI and its potential to deliver tangible benefits for humanity and society.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Altwaijry's insights were shared during the opening session of the fourth and final day of DeepFest 2026. He highlighted the evolving dynamics between humans and AI, underscoring technology's role in augmenting human capabilities and improving overall experiences.

Dr. Altwaijry pointed out that the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) understood early on that fostering a productive partnership between humans and AI extends beyond mere algorithms and technical concepts. It necessitates providing individuals with opportunities to engage with AI's capabilities directly.

He further explained that AI has become a crucial component of modern work environments, significantly contributing to areas such as software development, business analysis, and testing. This integration allows individuals to concentrate more on enhancing user experience, fostering creativity, and exploring innovative solutions.
