Mina: Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz met with Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel and Makkah Region Mayor Musaed Al-Dawood at the governorate headquarters in Mina.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, Prince Saud bin Mishaal was informed about the health status of pilgrims. The Minister of Health assured the deputy governor of the ongoing high level of preparedness and coordination among relevant entities, alongside the implementation of preventive plans. He confirmed that the pilgrims' health conditions are stable and noted the absence of epidemic cases among pilgrims.
The minister reported that over 1,095,000 healthcare services have been delivered to pilgrims since the commencement of the Hajj season, showcasing the healthcare system's readiness during Hajj 1447 AH.
Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz also assessed the progress of municipal services available to pilgrims during the Hajj season. He underscored the readiness of the field operational system, which is aligned with integrated plans and bolstered by digital transformation initiatives. These efforts aim to enhance response efficiency and integrate teams and operational mechanisms through control and monitoring centers, as well as proactive operational models, to ensure the continuity and quality of services across the holy sites.
