The Dhi Qar Governorate Police Command announced today, Monday, the arrest of 11 suspects who blocked roads with burning tires in front of citizens' movement.

A police statement stated, "Legal measures have been taken against the accused and they have been judicially arrested."

The statement indicated, "The security forces are pursuing the other defendants against whom judicial arrest warrants have been issued to take legal measures against them."

The Dhi Qar Police Command confirmed that "the province is safe with the efforts of the security forces in various formations," indicating that "the cooperation of citizens with them is important to maintain the state of security stability."
