Riyadh: The Digital Saudi exhibition marked its second day at LEAP 2026 yesterday with the launch of government digital initiatives, the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding, and presentations of national success stories.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the broad participation of government entities highlighted the ongoing development of the Kingdom's digital government ecosystem and the expanding adoption of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance public services.
Key milestones included the Ministry of Media's launch of a dedicated platform to unify services and bolster sector-wide integration. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the full cloud transformation of the Nusuk platform to boost infrastructure efficiency and ensure uninterrupted digital services for pilgrims.
In AI deployment, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture launched the "Namaa AI" service to streamline access and elevate digital interaction. Additionally, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority rolled out "Pro-Verifier," an AI-driven tool for smart product verification that cross-references product data with official registries.
The exhibition also saw the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority sign a memorandum of understanding with Darent, while the General Directorate of Civil Defense presented a case study on the future of Civil Defense as part of a series spotlighting government transformation models.
Digital Saudi hosted a panel discussion on heritage and digital transformation in the Kingdom, which explored the role of digital solutions in preserving national heritage and sharing best practices.
A major highlight of the day was the recognition of 62 government entities for successfully integrating their services into the national application Tawakkalna.
