The President of the Human Rights Commission and Chair of the Committee for Combating Trafficking in Persons, Dr. Hala bint Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri, will lead the Kingdom's delegation at the 4th session of the Government Forum against Trafficking in Persons in the Middle East 2023. The forum is scheduled to take place in Qatar for two days, starting tomorrow.
The event will witness the participation of several ministers and heads of committees dedicated to combating trafficking in persons from GCC countries, Jordan, and Egypt, as well as representatives from the United States, the United Kingdom, and various international organizations.
The forum aims to foster the exchange of experiences and best practices, establish a unified vision to combat trafficking in persons, address relevant issues and challenges, identify sustainable solutions, enhance adherence to international standards by participating countries, develop national capacities in this field, and discuss ways to support victims of this crime.
