Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology today warned of a heat wave in Eastern Region, with temperatures reaching 47 to 48 degrees Celsius and active winds stirring up dust. The warning covers the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, as well as several governorates and their affiliated villages and centers. The center said the conditions will continue until 5 p.m. According to Saudi Press Agency, the heat wave and accompanying winds are expected to impact daily activities in the affected areas. The agency advises residents to take precautions, avoid unnecessary outdoor activities, and stay hydrated to mitigate the effects of the high temperatures and dust.
