It also expressed its support for all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its sovereignty and safeguard the security of its citizens and residents.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Egypt emphasized its firm commitment to the security of the Gulf states as a fundamental pillar of Egyptian national security and the security and stability of the region.
