Cairo, Egypt recorded 2,291 new infections with the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and 39 deaths in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health stated, in a statement, that the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases amounted to 435052 cases, including 367,026 recoveries, while the death tally reached 22,819.
