Ekram Association for Food Preservation Serves Umrah Performers, Needy Families in Makkah

Makkah: Ekram Association for Food Preservation in Makkah has intensified its activities during the last ten days of Ramadan to serve needy families and Umrah performers.

Director of the association Ahmed Al-Matrafi said that the association had increased its distribution points to 60, including various parts of the Grand Mosque of Makkah, parking lots transporting Umrah performers in Jamarat and Kadee, the central area, Al-Masfala, pilgrim housing, mosques, and neighbourhoods with underprivileged families.

Al-Matrafi stressed the association’s keenness to harness all its capabilities to serve the community, Umrah performers, and expatriate students, noting that the association’s presence in Makkah imposes a greater responsibility on it, considering that Makkah is honoured to serve Umrah performers.

So far, the association has provided services to more than two million beneficiaries during Ramadan.
