Empowering Entrepreneurs: Insights from Monsha’at’s Biban Forum 2025 Report


Riyadh: The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) has released a new report on Biban Forum 2025, coinciding with the launch of the forum under the theme “Global Destination for Opportunities.” The report aims to empower the local, regional, and global entrepreneurship ecosystem.



According to Saudi Press Agency, it highlights key reforms in the Kingdom’s investment environment and the ease of doing business. By the end of the third quarter of 2025, commercial registrations reached 1.7 million, with over 8.4 million workers in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, Saudi women’s labor market participation rate reached 43.5%, reflecting the effectiveness of economic empowerment programs.



The report notes a 9.7% increase in tourism spending by incoming visitors in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, showcasing successful economic diversification efforts.



In real estate, the number of licensed off-plan sale units rose to 47,286 in the third quarter of 2025. The e-sports sector also experienced a 72% growth in the same quarter compared to the previous year.



The report confirms significant support for micro, small, and medium enterprises, with a 20% annual increase in financing during the second quarter of 2025. It emphasizes the contributions of the foreign investment system, privatization programs, and the National Transformation Program in enhancing the investment climate, along with the Public Investment Fund’s contribution to priority sector growth and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, solidifying the Kingdom’s status as a global economic power.



Furthermore, the report underscores the significance of the Biban 2025 Forum in empowering institutions, enhancing competencies, fostering strategic partnerships, and showcasing the competitive advantages of the Kingdom’s regions.
