Riyadh-- Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Date Council, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fadley, and the Director of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization "FAO" Dr. Qu Dongyu attended the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the International Date Council and the "FAO".

By encouraging the production of high-quality dates, enhancing date manufacturing, and expanding marketing and trade operations for dates, the MoU aims to give the two sides a framework for cooperation and to advance their shared goals and objectives about developing the date palm industry in integrated and sustainable ways.
