Paris: The Esports World Cup Fan Fest 2026 continues to offer a diverse range of activities in Paris, alongside the tournament competitions being held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. This marks the event's first international edition in Europe following its launch in Saudi Arabia. According to Saudi Press Agency, the fest runs from July 6 to August 23, bringing together more than 2,000 players and 200 clubs from over 100 countries, competing in 25 tournaments across 24 of the world's most popular games. Its activities combine competition, gaming culture, entertainment, and community engagement. The Qiddiya City Grid stands out as one of the fest's main attractions, offering visitors gaming challenges and artificial intelligence technologies to capture and share their experiences. Visitors can also meet content creators and explore entertainment experiences at Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia. The fest has attracted prominent figures from sports and esports. Tournament gaming ambassador Lee Sang-hyeo k, known as Faker, took part in an exhibition match during League of Legends week, while Al-Hilal player Karim Benzema participated in an EA FC 26 exhibition match. Tennis player Nick Kyrgios also met fans and attended the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 finals. International club venues have strengthened fan engagement with their favorite teams through various challenges and activities. Team Falcons organized an experience inspired by EA FC 26, while Team Liquid offered activities featuring the same game, as well as Trackmania races and open-play areas. Gentle Mates, T1, and G2 Esports venues also hosted panel discussions and Valorant and League of Legends competitions. As part of the festival's popular culture activities, an "Attack on Titan" inspired experience, presented in partnership with Sony, used projection technology, light displays, and digital screens to immerse visitors in the world of the series. Esports World Cup activities also extended into the heart of Paris, where the Champs-Élysées was transf ormed into an open gaming space, featuring competitions in Rocket League, Trackmania, and EA FC 26, along with an interactive village offering activities, meet-and-greets, and community discussions. The fest continues to offer activities, including EWC Play missions, free-play sessions, and opportunities to team up with gaming stars, enabling fans to engage directly with the world of esports and gaming culture.
