Riyadh: The European Union issued a strong condemnation of the recent military actions by the Houthi militia in Yemen, particularly those targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The EU expressed its unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia amidst these hostilities, emphasizing the gravity of the situation, especially following the attack aimed at Makkah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the EU spokesperson highlighted in a statement that the assaults on civilians and civilian infrastructure are unacceptable. The spokesperson warned that such actions by the Houthi militia jeopardize ongoing efforts to find a non-military resolution to the Yemeni conflict. These attacks pose significant threats to the stability and security of the region, further complicating peace efforts.
