Fasting Worshippers Gather for Iftar at Prophet’s Mosque on First Day of Ramadan

Riyadh: Large numbers of fasting worshippers, visitors, and residents gathered to partake in Iftar meals at the Prophet's Mosque at sunset on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, in a scene reflecting the spirituality of the blessed month.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Ramadan iftar tables were extended throughout the mosque's courtyards, where fasting worshippers gathered in an atmosphere marked by harmony and compassion. An integrated system of services and organization helped create a suitable environment for worship and for breaking the fast with ease and tranquility.

Charitable individuals and benefactors were also keen to provide iftar meals for fasting worshippers. This scene embodies the values of solidarity and giving and reflects the level of care and services extended to those visiting Madinah during the holy month.
