Riyadh: The Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority announced the conclusion of the fifth edition of Al-Urumah Season, which was held over six months in the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and King Khalid Royal Reserve. The season attracted large numbers of visitors from within the Kingdom and abroad.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority stated that visitor numbers exceeded 800,000. Fourteen tourism service providers participated in the season, offering 14 activities and experiences. The season also helped create approximately 84 job opportunities and supported local communities and ecotourism-related industries, enhancing economic and social sustainability within the two reserves.

The authority explained that organizing Al-Urumah Season during autumn, winter, and spring, which are characterized by moderate weather conditions, helped create an ideal environment for ecotourism activities. The season featured a variety of experiences, including hiking, stargazing, camel and horse riding, cycling, sightseeing, and exploration trips.

The season has attracted nearly two million visitors across its previous editions, reflecting growing interest in ecotourism in the Kingdom.
