FII Institute Unveils Key Speakers and Agenda for FII PRIORITY Europe 2026 in Rome


Rome: The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute has announced the initial lineup of headline speakers and outlined the strategic agenda for the FII PRIORITY Europe 2026 summit. Scheduled for June 17-19, 2026, in Rome, the event will focus on the theme ‘Europe Reimagined: Capital, Sovereignty and Strategic Autonomy’. The summit aims to bring together global investors, policymakers, innovators, and business leaders to explore how capital can enhance Europe’s competitiveness in sectors such as energy, technology, security, finance, and industrial transformation.



According to Saudi Press Agency, Richard Attias, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Acting CEO of FII Institute, emphasized the critical phase Europe is entering. He remarked that Europe’s future competitiveness, resilience, and strategic autonomy will largely hinge on the effective mobilization of capital across various industries, technologies, and infrastructure. The summit is designed to address Europe’s challenges while highlighting opportunities in energy, AI, manufacturing, finance, and sustainable growth.



The agenda includes pivotal discussions such as “Europe at the Inflection Point,” “Tariffs, Trade, and the New Geoeconomic Order,” and “Sovereign AI: Can Europe Build Its Own Intelligence Infrastructure?” These topics aim to address the strategic issues facing Europe today.



The summit will feature a distinguished group of global leaders and decision-makers. Confirmed speakers include Princess Reema Bandar, Saudi Ambassador to the United States and Member of the Board of Trustees at the FII Institute, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund and Chairman of Saudi Aramco, and Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism. Other notable participants are Mohammed Aljadaan, Minister of Finance, Edi Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, and Matteo Renzi, Senator of the Italian Republic and Former Prime Minister of Italy.



The lineup also includes influential business leaders such as Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of the Four Seasons, Ana Cabral, Co-Chairperson and CEO at Sigma Lithium, and Andrea Orcel, CEO of UniCredit. These speakers and others will focus on mobilizing capital, strengthening strategic industries, securing digital and energy infrastructure, and connecting Europe’s public and private sectors with global markets.
