Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, received here today Mohammed Zarkani, the outgoing Chief of Mission of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The minister praised the key role played by UN specialised agencies in adopting supportive plans and programmes, praising their tangible efforts in various fields that achieve the best for everyone.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa affirmed the kingdom’s keenness to enhance its pioneering efforts through joint cooperation and coordination, as well as exchange of the best experiences and expertise with various international organisations, which would contribute to serving development fields.
The Minister of Finance commended the efforts exerted by Mohammed Zarkani throughout his tenure to strengthen the effective Bahrain-IOM partnership, wishing him continued success in his future assignments.
