Northern borders: The first quarter moon of Muharram 1448 AH was observed Sunday evening in the sky over the Northern Borders Region, forming a striking astronomical scene visible to the naked eye after sunset. The moon appeared about 50% illuminated. According to Saudi Press Agency, clear skies over the region enhanced visibility, allowing astronomy and photography enthusiasts to observe the phenomenon and follow the moon's phases during the current month of Muharram.
