Hail, On behalf of Governor of Al-Jawf Region Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the region Hussein bin Mohammad Al Sultan received today the torch of the 2023 Saudi Games.

The flame for the games arrived early today at Al-Jawf Provincial Airport and then headed to Marid Castle to be lifted there by renowned Saudi championships medalists.

In press remarks on the occasion, the prince expressed pride in progress achieved in the Kingdom’s sport sector, thanks to the Saudi leadership’s support.

He also said that the tour which the torch of the Saudi Games is making across the country is to shed light on the development and achievements in the sport sector which is in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.

The flame is set to visit 66 landmarks across the Kingdom in preparation for the start of the Saudi Games, the largest national sports event, which will be held in Riyadh from November 26 to December 10 with the participation of more than 8,000 athletes from 200 clubs.
