A source in Dhi Qar Police said that a fire broke out inside an orchard, causing the destruction of 50 palm trees as a result of an electrical short.

The source told Al-Nasiriyah News Network that the fire broke out in the village of Al-Azerj, Al-Bati area, and the civil defense teams were able to put out the fire without causing any human damage.

He added that the fire caused the burning of 50 palm trees, and that the cause of the fire, according to the initial report, was an electric short circuit as a result of the passage of high tension through the orchard.
