New York:Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic Dr. Nawaf Salam on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing bilateral relations and exploring ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields. The discussions also covered regional developments and acknowledged the Lebanese government's efforts to preserve its national institutions, contributing to regional security and stability.

Additionally, both parties agreed to activate the Saudi-Lebanese Joint Committee to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two nations. The meeting was attended by Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Lebanese Affairs Prince Yazid bin Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Farhan.
