Foreign Minister Discusses UN Security Council Membership with Trinidad and Tobago Counterpart

Riyadh: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago Sean Sobers. During the call, Prince Faisal bin Farhan congratulated his counterpart on his country's election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2027-2028 term. He expressed his aspiration to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the two countries in a manner that contributes to regional and international security and stability.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two ministers also discussed several issues and topics of mutual interest. The conversation highlighted the commitment of both nations to enhance diplomatic ties and address concerns that affect regional dynamics. The dialogue is expected to pave the way for further collaboration on international platforms.
