Foreign Minister Engages in ‘Breaking Point’ Discussion at Munich Security Conference

Munich: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated on Friday in a discussion session titled 'Breaking Point: The International Order Between Reform and Destruction,' held as part of the Munich Security Conference 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the session was attended by notable figures, including Colombia's Minister of National Defense Pedro Arnulfo S¡nchez Su¡rez, US Permanent Representative to the United Nations Michael Waltz, and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas.

The session addressed the transformations in the international order and examined the effectiveness of multilateral institutions amid escalating tensions, security challenges, and global economic crises. It also emphasized the necessity to reform the international order by modernizing its mechanisms to achieve justice and equality among states.
