Riyadh: As part of the exchange of letters between Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Russian Federation Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, the ministers congratulated each other on the centenary of diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries. On behalf of the foreign minister, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji received a letter from the Russian foreign minister during a meeting held today in Riyadh with Russian Federation Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sergey Kozlov.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, the two diplomats exchanged congratulations on the centenary of diplomatic relations and discussed several issues of mutual interest.
