The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Monday, the number of members of the Iraqi community who were evacuated from Sudan.

Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said, in a statement that 288 people from the Iraqi community in Sudan, including 16 Syrian citizens, were evacuated.

He added, "We are continuing to document the appeals of the rest of our community in Sudan, and we have counted so far 75 new appeals to request eviction.
