Detachments of the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department in Wasit Police arrested four persons accused of drug trafficking and abuse in the city of Kut.

A source in the Wasit Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that "various narcotic substances and tools used for drug use were seized from the defendants, and they were referred to the judiciary."
