The Intelligence Agency arrested four suspects in their possession an amount of money amounting to (138) thousand dollars, as well as a large amount of Iraqi dinars, which they intended to smuggle to northern Iraq.
A statement by the Agency stated that the intelligence Agency began to take strict measures to limit currency smuggling by checking arrivals to northern Iraq, which resulted in the arrest of four suspects in Diyala who intended to smuggle an amount of money estimated at (138) thousand US dollars, heading to the northern governorates, and legal measures were taken against them.
The Intelligence Agency called on citizens to call the free hotline 144 and provide information on the outlaws.
