Four Umrah Companies Suspended for Accommodation Violations

Riyadh:The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has suspended four Umrah service companies and four external agents due to violations related to accommodating Umrah pilgrims in unlicensed facilities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, The ministry reported that the violations had an impact on several pilgrims. Consequently, the companies were suspended and referred to a committee for investigation and potential statutory penalties.

The ministry continues its field and digital monitoring efforts of Umrah companies, service providers, and external agents to ensure adherence to regulatory and operational standards, detect any violations, and execute appropriate legal actions.

Furthermore, the ministry underlined the necessity for Saudi companies and external agents to comply with approved regulations and fulfill their responsibilities towards pilgrims. It reiterated its commitment to enforcing statutory measures against violators, aligning with the goals of the Pilgrim Experience Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
